How PLEC listings work
PLEC is a marketplace for finding and booking venues and event services. To help planners discover great spaces from day one, our team sometimes creates an initial listing for a venue using publicly available information — before the venue's owner has joined PLEC.
We do this in good faith and we want to be upfront about it. Any listing our team created on a venue's behalf is marked "Listed by PLEC" until its owner claims it. We never present an unclaimed listing as being managed by its owner, and we make it easy for owners to take control or ask us to remove it.
If you own or manage a venue we've listed
You're in control. Reach out and a member of our team will verify your connection to the venue, then help you do any of the following:
Claim it
Take ownership of the listing and manage it from your own PLEC host dashboard.
Edit it
Fix anything that's inaccurate — photos, pricing, capacity, descriptions, contact details.
Take it down
Prefer not to be listed? Ask us to remove it and we'll take it down.
We verify ownership before transferring control of any listing. This protects venue owners from anyone else trying to claim a space that isn't theirs — so we may ask for something that shows your connection to the venue.
To get started, open the venue's page and choose "Do you own this venue? Claim it", or contact our team.
